Senior support specialist that would work with the infrastructure team and the service delivery team to maintain and support the IT systems across the EU and US. Provide On Site desktop support for the Leeds office, and remote support for the EU. Maintain, support and improve the networking configurations across Mitek globally. Provide on-call support for Leeds agents.This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems, directly impacting the efficiency and productivity of our teams across the EU and US
What You’ll Do (Essential Responsibilities)
- Deliver expert technical support for diverse infrastructure systems.
- Maintain cloud and on-site networking configurations.
- Support on site users at the Leeds office with level 2 support.
- Participate in an on-call rotation (once every four weeks).
- Drive continuous improvement of current systems.
- Perform software updates and patching for active desktops/servers.
- Manage application system user for new hires, terminations, and role transitions.
- Perform user onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Administer in collaboration with the infrastructure team servers.
- Ensure security is maintained and configured on the desktop/cloud/server environments
What You Need (Education/Licenses/Certifications, Experience, Knowledge, Technical Skills and Abilities)
- Associate’s degree in computer science, system administration, networking certification or other related fields and knowledge.
- Skills and abilities typically associated with 3-5 years of related experience in IT, doing IT Support and System Administration duties.
- Proven experience managing multi-system environments.
- Proficiency with Networking (CISCO/Sophos/Meraki).
- Proficiency with cloud-based solutions such as GSuite and MS365.
- Familiarity with AWS/GCP.
- Proficiency with Azure.
- Knowledge of security levels across various systems.
- Strong knowledge of computer systems and the ability to implement improvements effectively.
- Experience in writing system documentation, system specifications/requirements, presentations, correspondence, studies, reports, and training materials. Demonstrated ability to properly develop and maintainaccurate documentation.
- Be available to come to our Leeds Office once every two weeks.
- Proficiency in Excel desired.
- Audit experience is a plus.
